Exceedingly Abundantly - by Disciple John is a work of
Christian fiction originally written as a alternative for Christian mothers to
the Harry Potter series. Focusing on
God and the divine, the story begins with a young boy Simon in 1918 England
returning home to his mother’s farm in the United Kingdom. The local Baptist preacher tells him that he
has spiritual gifts from God and that he should use them to increase the faith
of the Chapel members, as they have never seen the power of God at work. From there Simon is visited by an angel and
is sent out on divine appointments casting out demons with the powers of
discernment, thus beginning his many assignments as he embarks on a journey
walking in God’s authority to bring healing, hope and deliverance to many. Fast-paced and with a sense of adventure,
this book credits the authority of God as Simon goes from scene to scene
praising God for all His wonderful works.
Intertwining faith and scripture, the author offers an
engaging and exciting journey through wonders, signs and prophetic words, all
leading others to God. Additionally,
this book is considered to be an alternative to Harry Potter books and the like
and is recommended for young readers ages 9-13. The attributes and miracles of God have the potential to ignite a
passion to know more about God, pointing unto salvation. Shedding some light into the unseen
spiritual world, the author illuminates the works of darkness, which include
wizards, demons and witches as the story progresses. All in all, this might be worth a read as a Christian fiction
with more books to be added to the series.
