presents a much-needed book within the Body of Christ. Inspiring, encouraging
and designed to “empower” and “equip” you to be everything you were created to
be.
The author offers those who have
lost hope or that are feeling disillusioned by life beginning with
encouragement from Scripture as stated in Romans 8:28 (NLT), “And we
know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love
God and are called according to his purpose for them.”
He then proposes an astounding
revelation that will bring much hope to those who read this book: You have the
ability to “choose.” This may sound trivial to some, but it sheds light on the
fact that circumstances or past mistakes do not define who you are “Destined to
Be” in God.
With this fresh insight and sound
Biblical wisdom this book is a practical read that announces to all readers
individually that, “You are not the sum total of all your past experience and
circumstances and you have the opportunity to choose the direction of your
life.” Again, this is an amazing statement and will also bring incredible
transformation to one’s purpose and life focus. Shedding light that many are at
a crossroads in their life, the author re-focuses and brings powerful
transformation in the lives of others by pointing them into their God-given
destiny with a practical guide map developed from Scripture. This is what you
were created for.
Divided into two parts, with nine
keys, such chapters included are: The Development Process (Part A & B),
The Enemy of Your Destiny, From Everest to Africa, Destiny is a Team Sport,
& God’s Positioning System, The Penguin King, Breaking Past the Barriers,
The Pinocchio Trap, & The
Leap, the author gives readers a road map to finding your destiny in God’s
purpose for your life, while offering advice on avoiding pitfalls and traps of
the enemy. The author additionally speaks on such facets of the Kingdom such
as: balance, the Armor of God, perseverance, unity, faith, trust, forgiveness,
overcoming rejection, fear and false beliefs, healing of heart wounds and
unforgiveness versus forgiveness. God’s provision and identity in Christ is
boldly proclaimed as repentance, courage, and focus bring sound Biblical wisdom
to the reader. The author has done an incredible job with outlining Kingdom
principles that are designed to encourage, build faith, and offer Biblical
guidance to the reader that ushers in transition from existence to destiny. He
also defines what destiny is and explains that life is a journey, one filled
with purpose and faith in God.
I cannot recommend this book enough. . . why? The author
states the Truth (and offers Biblical, yet down to Earth advice) without
being overly critical or judgmental. He lets people know the real
pursuits in life, and gives a practical pathway to get there. His book is also
based on firm Biblical principles of the Kingdom of God that will lead to
increased peace, fruitfulness and joy. With that said, this is an easy-to-read
book that brings to light scriptural truths in layman’s terms, that will lead
to righteous living. Reading this book will bring God’s blessings for those
that follow through with an open and obedient heart. I also believe this book
is going help those that are stuck in the mud to get out while they “unlock”
their true potential in their God-given destiny.
