The Seedplanter by Henry A. White depicts his life story,
combined with how God brought him back from the rough life of living on the
streets, into living a life spent serving God and witnessing Christ to others.
His story displays an impossible God, who loves all of His creation. In hopes
of winning others back to Christ, the author has written this book to give hope
and encouragement to the Body of Christ to once again fulfill the Great
Commission. The Seedplanter uncovers his quest as an ordained minister to
rediscover the lost art of witnessing. He calls all to “Rise up and become
‘Seedplanters,’ planting Christ into the heart of mankind.”
Biblical wisdom and scriptural interpretation present
knowledge and vision to believers, encouraging and equipping them in the Word
of God and revival. With great enthusiasm, the author has written a
well-rounded book that gives believers the tools needed to be effective
witnesses for Christ. He also includes a wide array of subjects, such as: the
Church, the Old and New Testament, foundational scripture interpretation,
speaks on making the right choices, and further speaks on knowing your enemy. Offering knowledge and transformation in the
renewing of the mind throughout the book, one will witness his life of hardship
being turned around to the glory of God as a leader, family man, teacher,
preacher and witness for Christ.
Stating that, “You cannot be a true worshipper without being
a true witness.” His book is practical, written from someone who knows how it
feels to be in need. He calls all believers to “Rise Up” and look around to see
how they can help others. Complacency has no place in the life of the believer
and he advocates being on the offensive. He also speaks of the weak, the
homeless veterans needing help, and about those who are in prison, all just
needing a word of encouragement (and practical help), that includes average,
everyday citizens that are in need of the love of Christ and practical help in
their lives.
This book is a wake-up call written to inspire the Church
into action and to “say something,” (and do something). Heart-felt and a
compassionate read, the author enthusiastically calls all believers to be the
person God has called them to be – A Seedplanter. A highly recommended read!
