Unfortunately her story is not unique. Many lives have been
touched by the sinister agenda of a twisted soul that would ravage an innocent
child.
Abuse through a twisted soul somehow slipped in Karen Hobb’s
life at the tender age of twelve that controlled her thoughts, emotions and
choices for many years. Her upbringing, despite the guidance of “good”
Christian parents that sent her to a Christian private school, did not prevent
her from experiencing something that just should not have happened.
The author writes to provide hope and healing through a
series of understandings that permeate her story, shedding light on the ways of
evil, to thus bring about a change to the individual from being a victim to
becoming free from the torments of sexual child abuse. With purpose, she
dispels some of the lies of the enemy that bring a release from the heaviness
of “feeling dirty and ashamed.” Her book is written to uniquely address the
soul that is wounded from abuse to bring healing into the soul. Finding hope
again is essential. Further advocating healthy support, counseling and hope in
God as a child of God, she writes to those explaining the way that she found healing.
Her hopes in sharing her testimony is so that others may take a stand for
justice as she did and be able to rise again from the ravages of childhood
sexual abuse.
This comes as a highly recommended read for all those that
need hope again after experiencing childhood sexual abuse. Filled with common
sense, a strong sense of righteousness, she gives victims a voice to stand and
to see justice.
