Born in Lisbon, and raised in Johannesburg, Eddie Fernandes co-founded Riverside International Church in Cascais, Portugal, where he continues to serve as senior pastor after 25 years. He is happily married to Marta Isabel since 1989 and the couple have three married daughters and five grandchildren, all serving in the Riverside Federation of Churches. Eddie holds degrees from four Christian Colleges/Universities in Portugal, South Africa, and the USA. He is a pastor, a mentor of leaders, a chaplain, an evangelist, and a well-travelled speaker. His purpose is to love and serve Christ in his generation. His passion is to build bridges of dialogue and understanding between people.
