of knowing the Scriptures, lest you be deceived. Many false prophets, false teachers and even false Christ’s are
in the world. Jesus spoke of this, but
the author highlights more on today’s preaching that has become diluted, a
doctrine of men and suited to please people.
This is where even the elect may become fooled. With that said, in these turbulent times,
the author emphatically states the importance of knowing the Word of God. He stands from the perspective that the Bible
is the only true Word of God and the only authority in which we should live by. If any teaching doesn’t line up with the
Word of God, toss it out. Henry Miranda
warns to study to show thy self approved as Scripture instructs. Filled with wisdom, keen Biblical
perspective and sound doctrine, this is a must-read for every Christian.
