Holiness “without no man shall
see the Lord” by Thomas G. Reed comes highly recommended to all Christians
as we face the End Times. The author
encourages believers to access their status as a Christian, considering that
purity and impurity, deeds of the flesh, and the covetous ways of the “old man”
have nothing to do with becoming holy.
Therefore, the author answers the question of what holiness will look in
a life dedicated to Christ, that has surrendered all. Simply put, he instructs Christians that believing in Christ’s
resurrection and death is not their “guarantee” to Heaven, there is action
required. Within this he reminds all of
Hebrews 12:14 in that, “Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without
which no man shall see the Lord.”
Did you hear that? So, what is
holiness one may ask? The author delves
into this question and inspires those to be ready and all is a prelude before
the Great Tribulation, the Rapture, and the return of Christ as society heads
towards the End Times at a rapid pace.
Revealing the ways of humanism as
the world’s ways, which are the opposite of a walk with Christ, this book is
built from a firm Biblical perspective and is for those that desire a close
walk with the Lord. The author lays a
clear view of what this Christian walk is in the light of “holiness” from God’s
Word. Such subjects as: the need for
holiness, sanctification, purification, separation and consecration are taught
as to what God says about holiness.
Shedding light on the lukewarm church, this book is also a companion
book to Reed’s book entitled, Overcoming Antichrist-Dying to Live. Refreshing and invigorating this book does
not beat one over the head with the Word, but rather explains that the love of
Christ encompasses all and that He is our all in all. It is a wonderfully encouraging read that will inspire a true
desire for Christ and Christ-likeness as one is conformed into the image of His
Son. This book comes as a highly
recommended read for new and mature.
